About the role
The American School of Vietnam (TAS) in Ho Chi Minh City is recruiting an experienced EAL Teacher to cover a maternity leave within the Learning Support and Enrichment department.
Operating within a collaborative push-in instructional model, you will partner closely with subject-area educators in middle and high school classrooms. Primary obligations include evaluating student language abilities using standardized diagnostics and designing tailored language development plans.
You will also scaffold classroom content, deliver differentiated English instruction across all core language skills, and champion an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere.
Requirements
- Background in English as an Additional/Foreign Language (EAL/ESL)
- Experience working with secondary or middle/high school students
- Familiarity with Common Core curricula and push-in support frameworks
- Skill in modifying instructional materials and managing language assessments
