About the role
KIUM English Academy is searching for a committed English instructor to join its academic team in Dongtan 2, Hwaseong. The position centers on delivering high-quality English education to primary and middle school students while adhering to established curriculum systems.
Instructors work a Monday-to-Friday schedule with a maximum of 25 weekly classroom hours. Core duties involve designing instructional aids, assessing learner performance, giving tailored feedback, and fostering an organized, engaging classroom environment.
Dongtan is a modern, family-friendly satellite city featuring rapid transit connections to Seoul and Gangnam, offering an accessible urban setting alongside a dynamic community of academies.
Requirements
- Native-level English speaker
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Valid Korean work permit (E-2 or compatible F-series visa)
- Current residency within South Korea strongly preferred
- Experience teaching primary and secondary school pupils preferred
- Background in English composition and essay instruction is advantageous
- Strong organizational habits and willingness to follow a structured academic curriculum
