About the role
KNS Academy is hiring native English instructors for its Elementary Department located in the Gangnam district of Seoul. The role involves guiding advanced elementary students from Grade 2 through Grade 6 in building English fluency and analytical thinking.
Instruction focuses on an IB-inspired curriculum alongside core English subjects. Teachers are responsible for developing listening, speaking, reading, and literature-focused writing capabilities through interactive lessons.
The position runs full-time on an afternoon schedule from Monday through Friday, operating primarily between 14:00 and 22:00.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year institution (Literature or Humanities preferred)
- Native English proficiency
- Citizenship from the USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, or Australia
- Eligible for E-2, F-4, or other valid Korean working visas
- Apostilled degree diploma and apostilled nationwide criminal record check (within 6 months)
- Completion of a self-medical health evaluation
