About the role
DBS is seeking a visionary Head of Science to lead, coordinate, and advance scientific education across the Upper School. Working closely with the Lower School Science Coordinator, the successful leader will maintain curriculum coherence and learning continuity across all year groups. The position reports directly to the Deputy Head (Academic) of Upper School.
In this senior role, you will be accountable for academic outcomes across the department. You will supervise continuous student assessment, evaluate instructional quality, and establish clear academic targets to ensure learners encounter challenging, engaging, and rewarding coursework.
