About the role
Hellokid provides a stable remote platform connecting educators with young students aged 4 to 16 for one-on-one English instruction. Classes are 25 minutes long, allowing tutors to develop ongoing educational relationships with regular learners over time.
Instructors receive complete training and pre-made curriculum materials. The position offers a renewable one-year contract requiring at least 14 fixed hours during peak Beijing time slots.
Payments are processed monthly via PayPal, Payoneer, or direct bank transfer, supported by a dedicated management team.
Requirements
- Fluent English speaker with a neutral or native accent
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience
- Valid TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching certification
- Availability for 4-6 days per week, including at least 14 peak hours (6:00 PM - 9:30 PM Beijing Time)
- Computer with Intel Core i5 processor or higher (CPU benchmark 4000+)
- High-speed internet (at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload)
