About the role
Dara Academy is currently looking for a native Chinese instructor to join its Trilingual E Plus+ Program in Chiang Mai. This full-time teaching appointment covers secondary students in Matayom 1 to 3, requiring around 16 to 18 instructional hours weekly.
The school is situated on Keawnawarat Road and offers an initial contract running through March 2027, with potential for renewal based on performance reviews. Educators will teach core language skills and introduce students to Chinese cultural concepts.
Ideal candidates are already based in Thailand with appropriate documentation, exhibiting strong classroom management and communicative skills in either English or Thai to coordinate smoothly within the department.
Requirements
- Native Chinese speaker (Chinese citizenship required)
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university (majors in Education or Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language preferred)
- Current possession of a Non-Immigrant B visa and based in Thailand
- Conversational fluency in English or Thai
- Teaching experience or cultural arts expertise preferred
