About the role
Montfort College Primary Section seeks an enthusiastic native English speaker to instruct upper primary learners in science. The educator will manage roughly 18 instructional periods each week, partnering with a local Thai co-teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
Key responsibilities include designing dynamic science coursework, incorporating educational technology into everyday teaching, assessing learner progress, and supporting school-wide initiatives and events.
The school is situated in Chiang Mai, a charming city in northern Thailand celebrated for its cultural traditions, natural scenery, and affordable standard of living.
Requirements
- Native English speaker from the UK, US, Australia, Canada, Ireland, or New Zealand
- Bachelor's degree in science, mathematics, a related discipline, or humanities
- Competence in standard software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Immediate availability for employment
- Ability to attend an in-person interview and conduct a demo lesson in Chiang Mai
- TEFL or TESOL certificate (preferred)
- Prior teaching experience within Thailand (preferred)
Salary & benefits
