About the role
KK International School (KKIS) is an expanding institution situated along the Thai-Myanmar border in Mae Sot, Tak Province. The school is currently developing a new campus and guiding learners from national benchmarks toward an established British Curriculum structure.
In this role, the Key Stage 1 Homeroom Teacher will educate Year 1 and Year 2 learners across foundational subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, and PSHE/Citizenship. Instruction utilizes digital resources such as Pearson platforms to deliver high-quality academic content.
Educators are expected to weave core life competencies and the 4Cs (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking) directly into their teaching. Additional duties involve carrying out regular student assessments, maintaining academic records via Google Drive and Google Classroom, and supporting English language learners.
Requirements
- Background or qualification in early learning, early childhood, or primary education
- Competence in teaching core primary subjects following the British Curriculum framework
- Familiarity with digital tools such as Google Classroom, Google Drive, and digital learning platforms
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural educational environment on the Thai-Myanmar border
