About the role
British International School Hanoi is looking to recruit an energetic Teacher of History to become part of its secondary Humanities faculty starting in August 2027 in the Long Bien District.
This position spans Key Stage 3 instruction alongside preparing upper-secondary students for Edexcel IGCSE History and IB Diploma Programme examinations. The role also contributes directly to the collaborative Global Citizenship syllabus delivered across Years 7 through 11.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a supportive departmental team to deliver rigorous, inclusive, and inquiry-led humanities lessons that prepare learners to thrive as responsible global citizens.
Requirements
- Experience teaching secondary history, ideally with Edexcel IGCSE or IB Diploma History credentials
- Ability to deliver History across Key Stage 3 and contribute to Global Citizenship courses
- Strong collaborative skills and willingness to work productively within a multidisciplinary team
- Dedication to inclusive teaching practices tailored to diverse international students
