About the role
UNIS Hanoi is hiring an Upper Elementary Learning Support Teacher to provide specialized educational support within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). This specialist works closely with classroom teachers and school leadership to ensure all students can access the curriculum.
Key responsibilities include reviewing assessment data to pinpoint learning barriers, delivering Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions, co-planning and co-teaching lessons, and working alongside teaching assistants and homeroom instructors.
Operating in Vietnam's capital city, the school maintains an international standard of inclusion, supporting learners from diverse backgrounds through evidence-based pedagogical strategies.
Requirements
- Recognized qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs/Learning Support
- Demonstrated experience providing learning support in an elementary setting
- Practical knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) across Tiers 1–3
- Skill in diagnostic assessment, co-teaching, and collaborative intervention planning
- Strong communication skills for partnering with educators, specialists, and parents
