About the role
RC International School in Bangkok is looking for an enthusiastic Year 2 Homeroom Teacher starting in October 2026. The role focuses on delivering core British National Curriculum subjects to lower primary students through hands-on learning experiences and inquiry.
The appointed educator will nurture fundamental competencies in English, mathematics, science, reading, history, and geography. You will establish a positive, well-managed classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and collaborative problem-solving.
Teachers are expected to routinely assess academic growth, adapt instructional methods to meet distinct learner needs, and maintain proactive communication with parents and colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (degree in education preferred)
- Prior experience teaching early primary grades, ideally Year 2
- Familiarity with the British National Curriculum framework
- Valid teaching qualification preferred
- Strong background in primary mathematics, science, and literacy
- At least two years of teaching experience preferred
