About the role
STAR Academy is actively looking for an ESL Homeroom Teacher to join its educational team in Zhubei City, Hsinchu, Taiwan. In this role, educators lead instruction for young learners within intimate classroom settings, creating engaging lesson plans, tracking student development, and collaborating with colleagues on program design.
The position follows a full-time weekday timetable from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, featuring an inclusive two-hour midday break. Successful candidates will also liaise regularly with families regarding learning milestones and remain open to working across school campuses as needed.
Situated in northern Taiwan, Hsinchu provides an engaging balance between a bustling technological hub and traditional local heritage, highlighted by historical temples, local culture, and accessible transportation links.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
