About the role
Fuhwa Education Group is preparing for the expansion of its bilingual secondary program in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and is hiring a full-time STEAM & ESL teacher for the 2027–2028 school term. With a long-standing history spanning nearly seven decades, the organization is extending its elementary bilingual curriculum into junior high education.
The role emphasizes interdisciplinary education, combining English language development with STEAM concepts through inquiry, project-based tasks, and CLIL approaches. Teachers will actively participate in shared curriculum planning, design differentiated coursework, and foster creative problem-solving.
Educators receive designated planning hours and curriculum support while working in a collaborative team atmosphere that values innovative instructional strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- At least 3 years of relevant ESL/EFL teaching experience
- Age under 60 (to fulfill regulatory employment criteria in Taiwan)
- Native or near-native English fluency
- Background or practical experience in STEAM disciplines (such as science, math, coding, robotics, or maker education)
- Compliance with legal requirements for teaching employment in Taiwan
