About the role
An international K-12 campus is recruiting a passionate Economics and Business Teacher to join its faculty for Summer 2027. This position features the opportunity to assume the role of Subject Lead for Individuals and Societies (I&S).
The role centers on teaching Business Studies and Economics in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) while delivering the I&S syllabus to students in the Middle Years Programme (MYP). Teachers are expected to employ contemporary pedagogy and foster critical thinking about global social sciences.
Educators will differentiate classroom materials for varied skill levels, track student achievements, maintain active communication with families, and contribute to extracurricular initiatives across the school.
Requirements
- Recognized teaching qualification and degree in Economics, Business, or Social Sciences
- Familiarity with or experience teaching IB DP Economics/Business and MYP Individuals & Societies
- Proficiency in differentiated instruction and technology-enhanced learning
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Readiness to support cross-curricular programs and take on departmental leadership
